IT STARTED WITH
Extra Credit
Ryan & Taylor first met on an extra credit assignment to the Toledo Museum of Art on November 1, 2019. They were both in an introductory Art History course at Bowling Green State University, but had it at different times in the day.
The extra credit assignment brought all of the class sections together, and both Ryan & Taylor were running late. Luckily for them, their tour group went an hour over the others. After getting to know each other during the tour, they exchanged Snapchats and started dating soon after.
AND THE REST IS
History
The next day, they met at the library to work on some homework, and ended up spending the whole day learning more about one another. They would talk in the hall in the 10 minute gap between their Art History classes, and eventually have their first real date at Beckett’s Bar during the start of
a snowstorm.
After almost 5 1/2 years of dating, Ryan proposed to Taylor on a family vacation in Mexico on March 31, 2025. Ryan tried to get Taylor to change out of her swimsuit and into a dress that morning, but she refused. After watching a dolphin show that morning, Ryan got down on one knee on the beach while his family watched.
